1893 merryweather Steamer Fire Pump

The 1893 Merryweather horse drawn steam pump (fire engine) was originally based on the Tichborne estate and for many years was housed in the Fire Station in Pound Hill. In 2018 it was moved to the Old Fire Station Museum in Broad Street. In the 1970s it had an outing around the streets of Alresford with then serving fireman dressed in period uniform.
